Michael J Smith Producer / VFX Bio:
An award winning Senior Producer with 20 years in Hollywood, Michael brings a wizard-like mastery to his projects. Nominated 5-times by the Visual Effects Society for “Best Visual Effects in a Special Venue Project,” Michael produced the award winning feature film Trouble Is My Business, the sci-fi short Hyperion Chronicles and VFX Supervised and field-commissioned numerous films, including Wings Over Washington at Seattle’s Mariners Landing, The Smurfs Theater at Motiongate Dubai, Spongebob Subpants at Moody Gardens, Dora & Diego 4D for Simex/Iwerks, Typhoon 360 for the Singapore Maritime Experiential Museum, Madagascar: The Crate Adventure at Universal Studios Singapore, Firebirds over America for OCT Shanghai, The Spirit of Franklin for the Aichi Expo and Who Killed the Idea for BMW Films.Michael has spearheaded research and development for stereoscopic production, media-driven VR experiences, projection mapping for special events, workflow development for multi-screen/multi-projector post-production, and system architecture for interactive media systems. Michael Smith is also a co-owner and partner of Lumen Actus, LLC.
Tom Konkle - Director - Writer - Producer
20 years industry veteran Tom Konkle, recently co-wrote, directed and starred in the award-winning feature film, Trouble Is My
Business. Konkle also recently directed the short films The Longest Knife and Hyperion Chronicles, appeared in the series Baskets on the FX Network with Zach Galifianakis and Emmy winner, Louie Anderson. He served as a staff writer for Warner Brother’s.
Tom has been described as a techie with the mind of a poet. A working performer with a long list of screen and stage acting credits, who
also writes and directs with a thorough understanding of production, post, distribution and promotion through social media. Konkle has over 100+ IMDB credits and a number of award winning projects. He is a skilled indie producer as well with a lifetime of learning all aspects of the craft from mentors. Tom worked with producer Graham Ford (Time Bandits, Brazil, Gandhi), performed with John Cleese. Tom has also worked for all of the major networks and on stage as a performer, director and writer.

in Burbank, CA.
